Teachers throughout Imperial County were surprised by the 黑料社区 Curriculum Team for National Teacher Appreciation Day (May 3, 2016). This video gives a few highlights and a sampling of the outstanding teachers that are making a difference in the lives of students.
Working jointly with the Sheriff鈥檚 Office and the Probation Department, Imperial Valley College offers an innovative program that gives county inmates an opportunity to start their college education.
The first of its kind in California, Inside/Out brings 15 鈥渋nside鈥 students, incarcerated at the Imperial County Jail, and 15 鈥渙utside鈥 students from IVC, together as a class.
