The payroll staff processes the monthly salary payments for all persons employed in programs operated by the County Office. Additionally, the department processes payments to vendors for retirement 403(b) and 457 plans, and other voluntary deductions authorized by the individual employee. This department also serves as the Liaison and reporting agent to Federal and State Tax agencies, PERS and STRS retirement agencies and other local agencies.
